It’s been a while since I’ve posted and just wanted to put out a quick update…
I’ve decided to take the plunge and attempt to make a go of it in the world of microstock photography. After doing some research I decided that my first attempt with a microstock agency would be with 123RF. ( Submit Stock Photos to 123RF and make money! )
After signing up I had to submit at least 10 photos for review and if they were accepted, I’d be good to go.
I decided to “hedge my bet” and submit 22 photos just in case.
The next 24 hours were a bit nerve wracking, but in the end I’m glad I did submit 22 because 7 of them were rejected. You can see the 15 that made it here.
Now, one might be a little upset that 7 of their photos were rejected, but the person doing the reviewing of my images was nice enough to indicate briefly why and after taking a second look, I could see their point.
Overall, it made for kind of a nice first experience. I got some feedback on my images and learned a little bit about what they’re looking for in terms of quality.
